Who can apply? ESSEC MSc. in Management students; Students from the Mastère Spécialisé Marketing Management et Digital in Cergy (MMD), students from the Master in Strategy Management of International Business; MSc in Sustainability Transformation, Second Year Students from the MSc in Hospitality Management.
Jointly created by ESSEC and the LVMH Group in 1991, the LVMH Chair is the longest-standing program worldwide specially dedicated to training young talents for careers in the luxury industry.
The LVMH Chair offers students a global vision of the contemporary issues and challenges related to luxury brand management. It allows students to understand the 5 sectors of the luxury industry: fashion and leather goods, watches and jewelry, wines and spirits, perfumes and cosmetics and selective distribution.
Through the Chair, students immerse themselves in the professional world of luxury and in the LVMH ecosystem, traveling through various expertise and through each stage of the value chain: design and creation, brand management, merchandising, digital transformation and innovation, customer experience and retail excellence.
The Chair's program includes:
- Exclusive education over the year to understand the specificities of the sector.
- Conferences led by LVMH managers and organized with students to integrate the practice of the professionals.
- Visits on-site to the heart of the Maisons to immerse yourself in the luxury world.
- A business case competition between the best European business schools
- Case studies seminars with professionals from the Maisons.
Finally, throughout the program, students benefit from the support and involvement of the large community of alumni of the LVMH Chair.

Objective
The LVMH Chair gives students a global overview of the strategies as well as the challenges involved with managing luxury brands.
The Chair exposes students to all five sectors of the luxury industry including: Fashion and Leather Goods, Watches and Jewelry, Wines and Spirits, Perfumes and Cosmetics, and Selective Distribution, which provides students with a global perspective of the luxury industry.
The Chair provides unique opportunities to find internships or apprenticeships at LVMH.
